Good News
Greetings once again from Ha Noi. The Lord has been good to us in many ways, blessing us with cooler weather, breezes, and rain. We have also been blessed with better health, since we are all recovering from a cold. It is such a blessing to be able to stand on my 3rd floor landing and to pray for this country, to walk into pagoda and pray for light to enter into the darkness.
Our exchange student, who lives with us, has spoken to her brother giving him the message. He told her that he wanted to be baptized. Today we went to a park and climbed a mountain, yes in 90 degrees and 90 percent humidity we climbed, during this climb I had the opportunity to also share the message with another person, we call him Tex. This is the second occasion, and in the next few days, we will have another opportunity to further the discussion. Please pray for them.
Our time is drawing to a close, next Wednesday, we will hold our closing ceremony having been moved up because the officials want to take us to Ha Long Bay. On Sunday August 5th well will move from the school into a hotel for debriefing, and on Monday August 6th we fly out of Viet Nam. This trip has went from, “I’m ready to go home,” to blessings being poured out.
One thing I need a lot of prayer for is the school is supposed to be putting together an offer of employment for me. This would be a full time year long job here in Ha Noi. I would of course have to leave Coy at home. She is willing to do this if need be. We will need your full support if this happens. Let Him shine light upon this and open doors, or close them so that it is very evident.
